Queensland Building Solutions environmental policy is to balance our economic and operational requirements with our social responsibilities to minimise impact on the environment.
Queensland Building Solutions is committed to complying with national, state and local government legal requirements applicable to activities undertaken by QBS. (refer Legislation and Other Register QBS-R-005) This commitment also applies to compliance with Main Roads Specifications and Regional Council policy, local laws and guidelines governing the protection of the environment.
Queensland Building Solutions is committed to the continual improvement of systems to minimise the risk of potential harm to the environment that may occur as a result of development activities including the monitoring and review of the policy and it’s objectives through on-going internal and external audits.
Management reviews, external and internal audits will be the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets to ensure they are consistent with Environmental Policy, the requirements stated in ISO 14001 and that the objectives positively contribute to environmental protection, operational effectiveness and financial performance.
The Queensland Building Solutions environmental policy is documented herein and will be circulated as part of each project construction management plan for field staff and placed in Head Office for viewing by office staff and the public.
